Oak tree life cycle
We are learning about plants. We read From Little Acorns by Sam Godwin. Then we went on a leaf and seed hunt around the school. We found acorns growing at ever stage mentioned in our story.

A seedling sprouting from the acorn
An oak tree needs to be 40 years old before it produces acorns
A seedling just starting to sprout
An acorn that has grown a root in autumn and then sat dormant through winter.
